PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION 活動簡介：

The primary purpose of this 9-day study tour in Italy is to expose students to the origins of Western civilization, Catholic faith heritage, and the integration of Chinese and Western cultures. By taking Rome as the central base, alongside day trips to Assisi, Orvieto, and Civita di Bagnoregio, students will broaden their global horizons while deepening their national identity and cultural confidence. Through visiting the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran upon arrival, attending Sunday Mass at Saint Peter's Basilica, exploring the early Christian Catacombs, venerating the relics of Saint Carlo Acutis in Assisi, and reflecting on missionary history, students will enhance their critical thinking, responsibility, and civic virtues, reflecting the core values of Hong Kong's values education curriculum.

本九天八夜之意大利遊學團以「意想不到的梵華 - 中西文化共融之旅 (Vatican & Cathay: A Sino-Western Cultural Symphony)」為主題，以歷史名城羅馬為住宿基地，並安排兩天分別前往亞西西（Assisi）以及奧爾維托（Orvieto）連同白鷺里治奧「天空之城」（Civita di Bagnoregio）進行當日往返之深度考察。本行程以「認識天主教信仰」、「了解西方文明起源」及「促進中西文化共融」為核心。首日抵達後即前往羅馬教區主座教堂——拉特朗聖若望大殿（Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran）考察；第二日（星期日）安排於梵蒂岡聖伯多祿大殿（Saint Peter's Basilica）參加主日彌撒，並實地考察地下墓窟（Catacombs），了解早期天主教徒遭受羅馬帝國迫害仍堅持信仰的歷史。前往亞西西考察時，特別安排前往剝衣聖堂（Santuario della Spogliazione）瞻仰聖卡洛·阿庫蒂斯（Saint Carlo Acutis）之聖骸，以現代青年聖人網絡福傳與愛德行動為榜樣激勵學生。此外，學生將透過實地考察傳教士（如利瑪竇神父）在中西文化交流中的貢獻，切實認識中華文化在西方文明發展中的相互影響，從而培養厚重的國家情懷、文化自信與國際視野。隨團教師將配合校本研習工作紙進行引導式教學，實踐香港教育政策所倡導之首要價值觀與態度。

第二天 Day 2 (Sun 星期日)	天主教信仰體驗與聖地：主日彌撒與梵蒂岡 Catholic Faith & Holy See: Sunday Mass & Vatican	參觀梵蒂岡城國 (Vatican City State)，於聖伯多祿大殿 (Saint Peter's Basilica) 內參加主日彌撒；正午於聖伯多祿廣場聆聽教宗「三鐘經」祈禱，下午參觀梵蒂岡博物館 (Vatican Museums) 及西斯汀小堂 (Sistine Chapel)。學習重點：體驗天主教禮儀與藝術對西方文明之影響。 Attend Sunday Mass inside Saint Peter's Basilica; Angelus prayer with the Pope at St. Peter's Square. Matteo Ricci, S.J.）靈修傳承地、耶穌會總會 (Jesuit Headquarters)、萬神殿 (Pantheon) 及納沃納廣場 (Piazza Navona)。學習重點：認識利瑪竇神父等傳教士促進中西科技與文化雙向交流之歷史，增強文化自信。 Visit Chiesa del Gesù (legacy of Fr. 第六天 Day 6	和平博愛與青年聖人楷模：亞西西一日考察 Peace, Love & Youth Saint: Assisi Day Trip	前往亞西西 (Assisi)，參觀剝衣聖堂 (Santuario della Spogliazione) 瞻仰聖卡洛·阿庫蒂斯 (Saint Carlo Acutis) 之聖骸；並參觀聖方濟各大殿 (Basilica of Saint Francis) 及聖克拉爾大殿 (Basilica of Saint Clare)。學習重點：學習聖卡洛·阿庫蒂斯利用科技傳播愛德之精神，以及聖方濟各關愛自然之哲學。 Day trip to Assisi. 第七天 Day 7	自然地貌與中世紀工程：天空之城與奧爾維托一日遊 Geology & Medieval Engineering: Bagnoregio & Orvieto Day Trip	上午（奧耶維托 Orvieto）：奧耶維托大教堂 (Orvieto Cathedral - 哥德式建築與聖體奇蹟遺蹟)、聖帕特里克井 (Pozzo di San Patrizio)。下午（維泰博 Viterbo）：教宗宮 (Palazzo dei Papi - 歷史上首次教宗選舉「教宗選舉會 Conclave」誕生地)、聖比列格靈中世紀街區 (San Pellegrino Quarter)。研習重點：考察中世紀教宗廷歷史演變、選舉制度對現代議事制度之影響，以及中世紀山城防禦工程與宗教文化。 Morning (Orvieto): Orvieto Cathedral (Gothic architecture and the remains of the Eucharist), Pozzo di San Patrizio. Afternoon (Viterbo): Palazzo dei Papi (birthplace of the Conclave, the first papal election in history), San Pellegrino Quarter. 第八天 Day 8	羅馬城市探索與文化采風 Rome Orienteering & Cultural Exploration	進行校本設計羅馬城市定向：參觀西班牙廣場 (Piazza di Spagna)、許願池 (Trevi Fountain)、天使與殉道者聖母大殿 (Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels and Martyrs) 及人民廣場 (Piazza del Popolo)。傍晚前往機場。 School-based Rome City Orienteering: Visit Piazza di Spagna, Trevi Fountain, Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels and Martyrs, and Piazza del Popolo.
